I thought this was a fitting card for late August- an apple card.  I made the SVG files and used Make the Cut to cut them out. 

Thinking of You

So I made this card to send to someone I haven't seen at church in a while.  I cut out the saying with Make the Cut and used some of the flowers I made in the first post.  It was a really simple card, but I think it's kinda cute.

A cute cupcake card

I thought this was a fun card- it's great for a birthday or just about any special occasion.  I made the whole thing on Make the Cut, and embossed the background with my cuttlebug.

Birthday

The other day I decided to make a bunch of cupcakes to put on cards at some point- this is the first card I did with them.  I made the cupcake with the Sweet Treats cart. on the Cricut and the circle is made with Make the Cut.  I used some chalk to give the cupcake and cherry a bit more definition.

Thanks- again

Sorry for not posting in a couple days- I'm moving and I have been busy packing up boxes all day long- doesn't leave too much time for crafting.

Yeah, so if you can't tell. . . I make a lot of thank you cards.  I saw something a bit like this online, and I decided to make it my own, so I changed the saying, the colors, and a bit of the lay-out and made my own card.  I thought it turned out well.  I used my new Swiss Dots embossing folder for the cuttlebug. . . which I have wanted to have forever- so I was excited.  Of course. . . I used Make the Cut for the thanks.  All in all it was a simple, but fun card to make.

Simply Elegant

I made this pretty purple flour with a pretty pearl, and I couldn't decide what to do with it.  I happened to set it on a plain white card, and realized how pretty it would be if I kept it simple- so. . .  I embossed the background and glued it on.

Gerber Daisy

     Today is a rainy day- a sad sign that the summer is drawing to a close and I will soon have to return to school.  I decided to brighten up my day by making a fun summery card.  I love Gerber Daisies, and this one reminds me of them.
     First- I made an SVG file to cut it with Make the Cut.  Next, I cut each of the petals toward the center of the flower so I could get it to pop.  Then, I bent down each petal using a toothpick.  I also dusted the edges of the flowers with brown chalk so they would have some definition.  After that I stuck them together with foam squares and glued on a fun button.
For the background I used my handy dandy Cuttlebug (if you can't tell I love it) and embossed both colors together so that they would fit well.

     It may sound complicated, but I promise- it wasn't. 

Here is the SVG file- you just have to plug it in to Sure Cuts A Lot or Make The Cut, and Voila you have a Gerber Daisy

It's A Girl

Okay, I promise- this is the last baby post for some time. This one is a pretty simple one cut with New Arrival on my cricut.  I added a bit of sparkle with some purple glitter, but other than that it's pretty simple

Baby Girl

This card and the baby boy card in the post below are companion cards- they are the same basic idea, just done for a boy and a girl- yet again I used New Arrival on the cricut to make it, and my cuttlebug to emboss the background of the card.  I cut the "little one" out with make the cut- even though on the picture it looks like I wrote it.

Here is another baby card I made this week- I know, you're probably getting sick of baby cards- me too!  But here is a simple baby boy card I made with New Arrival.  The lay-out is a really versatile one- but it always looks great.  The background is embossed with my cuttlebug.

Sweet Pea

Okay, I think this is my favorite card I've made so far.  I found some paper that had pea pods on it and turned it into a fun baby girl card.  I used the New Arrival cartridge for the baby girl in the pea pod, and then just a really simple card layout.  It is really a lot brighter in real life, but my camera didn't want to take the picture correctly.

Choo Choo

So since just about everyone I know is pregnant right now, I decided to make some baby cards.  For this one I used My World cartridge and I found some fun Choo-Choo paper at Joann's. 

Back to School

So here is another card I made yesterday.  I also used make the cut to make this one-  At some point I hope to get the SVG files up so you can use them if you like.

School Days

I decided that with school starting soon, I would make cards to celebrate (or in my case mourn) the beginning of school.  I made all the die cuts with SVG files I made for Make the Cut.

Flower Card

Today I decided to do something with the flowers I made earlier.  To make the flowers, I used the Accent Essentials cartridge and cut out different sizes in different shades of purple.  Then I punched a hole in the middle of each flower and tied them together with a button brad.  I embossed the white background with my cuttlebug.  The stems and leaves are made from some scrap yearn I had laying around the house.  Hope you like them

Flower Power

Today I discovered a bunch of flowers I had cut out with various cricut cartridges (Walk in My Garden, and Accent Essentials) for a primary lesson I was teaching a few months back.  Since I was in a use it up or throw it out mood I decided to make something pretty- many flowers later this is what I ended up with:

I have to say- my favorites are the yellow cherry blossoms in the top right corner- simply because after making a ton of flowers I noticed that I had a bunch of circle middles left- so I made them into flowers.
